About Trygg Air Alaska
Trygg Air, ("SAFE" in Norwegian) was founded by Chris Klosterman.
The Norwegian connection honors his Grandmother who came from Norway by boat when she was a girl of 15. Chris was born into aviation in Alaska and grew up on Lake Hood in Anchorage, the world’s largest seaplane base. His family ran an air-taxi service, so at an early age Chris washed floats, helped carry bags, load and fuel airplanes, and as soon as he was able learned to fly.
Almost 20 years of flying experience has taken him all over the state of Alaska as well as many other places in North and South America. He has flown for several air charter services and fishing lodges and understands what travelers to Alaska are looking for. His true desire is to share with you the rugged beauty of the Alaska he has explored so thoroughly, and to provide you with a truly unique experience, whatever your interest.
